This is just to cool, and adorable. Love the sounds/music, and simple animation. I'm not going to question the "breathing," it adds to the cuteness. The sparkles in her mane/head are a nice touch to. I also like the robotic details on her eyelids.
I was very lucky to find the nice song I did. It does have the same soothing, computerized feel of the ones you posted. Never paid enough attention to the music in either of those when I went through them, lovely stuff.
It's funny how you said why she is breathing. Well in the Transformers universe the home planet of the Transformers has a slight atmosphere with O2 and it is purposefully there to cool the Transformers internal components. Given this your reasoning is not BS the only difference between breathing and the TF's are the fact that TF's have exhaust ports and incoming channels like you can see on the side of Starscreams face.
i agree for something as complicated as sweetiebot she will need a cooling system that is not loud or stands out and doing something similar to breathing for a cooling setup is just perfect in this case otherwise she would have a bank of fans sitting i her side or something that sticks out like a giant sore thumb or just be a walking space heater set to the max
Except for a robot that small the internal components won't get nearly as hot as larger ones like transformers. Even a standard laptop only has an incoming air fan the size of two inches. Other cooling systems could be built inside, like a liquid nitrogen line system or freon (the same stuff in your standard refrigerator)
ture but i was not thinking something like a a freon coolant system if done right i was thinking like high performance super light weight heat sinks or something like cooling pipes you see on computers today it would be lighter than a refrigerant system. because if she had something like that in her she not might be that small. and also her components could be mad to handle high heat and the breathing as the cooling could be to take the edge of and keep it from affecting her other components. and a semi passive cooling system like heatsinks and cooling pies no liquids or pumps would extend her battery life dramatically. not im just theorising and im no expert in any of this.
